School leaving certificate with 1,8! Despite megastress the Tokio Hotel twins have taken school seriously and got now a top-school leaving certificate! Exclusiv in Bravo!
Tokio Hotel just conquer the US! And despite endless stress as rockstars the twins Bill and Tom (both 18) made in addition their secondary school qualification.
(note: They were 10 years in school. In Germany we call it "Realschulabschluss"; I`m not sure, how you call that in English. I hope "secondary school qualification" is the correct translation. If not, feel free to correct me.)
And that even with super grades: five times "2"=good and one "1"=very good"
( note: 1 is the best= "A" and 6 the worst ="F" you can get.).
Bill and Tom talk now about their school-experiences exclusively in Bravo and show their school leaving certifications….
Bravo: Congratulation! Are you happy you have made it in school?
Bill:So much! We are really happy, that this chapter is finally behind us. Tom and I have directly afterwards tore all books and exercise books and burned them…
Bravo: How have you passed school despite the stress with such good grades?
Tom: First: It was horror for us (laughs)
Bill: We also didn`t believe it. Often we were briefly near to say: "Forget it!" With 18 we are not anymore at school age - we had not to do it. But we are perfectionists and we tried everything to make it. So we slept less and worked more.
Tom: We learned 12 hours daily - seven days long in the week before the examina!
Bill: And in that week Georg and Gustav had completely free. FREE! We don`t even know this word.
Bravo: You had correspondence school. How did this work?
Bill: They sent us the learning material home.We had to work through it and send it back.
Tom: We could organize the time freely - that was good! But we had to write everything by hand - cheating was not possible…
Bravo: Also not at the final examination?
Bill: Nooo! Tom and I sat alone in a room with the examiner. He could stare the whole time on our sheet…
Tom: Besides we sat too far apart for cribbing. When we went to school normally, we did that all the time. We shared out the learning stuff.
Bravo: You both have exam nerves, haven`t you?
Bill: So much! We could barely sleep the whole week before! Tom and I were so excited! We learned until deep in the night and stood up at six o`clock in the morning.
Tom: I feel always so sick before exams, as if I had to vomit….Fortunately it never went that far.
Bravo: Did you have a little bid fear, that the teachers could be mean to you, just because you are the boys of Tokio Hotel?
Bill: Sure! We didn`t know, whether they have prejudices or think: "These stars think for sure, they will get the final examination as a present."
Tom: But we wrote the same examina like all the other pupils and couldn`t cheat. Maybe they have read our examinas twice just to be sure (laughs).
Bravo: In your past you had often trouble with your teachers. How was that this time?
Bill: This time the teachers were friendly to us.
Tom: But I have an aversion to teachers in general. We saw them just very rarely. If we had to see them daily, we would have picked a quarrel with them for sure.
Bravo: Which subjects did you like?
Tom: (laughs loudly) All were horror! That were the worst weeks of our life!
Bravo: Does that mean: never again school?
Tom: Let`s say: "biology" will still be present in my life (laughs)!
Bill: The band is always the first priority. But we made this final examination to know, we can always make the "Abitur".
Tom: But we don`t plan that for the next time.
Bravo: Why are your grades actually exactly the same?
Bill: Thats once again a twins-thing. We also couldn`t believe it, when we saw that.
Bravo: What`s going on now?
Bill: Our European tour will start now with a complete new stage. Then we`ll go back to the USA. And we`ll unfortunately have only one day off in between ….
